My plow guy tagged my bumper the other night :O He let me know right away and was extremely upset with himself. Felt a bit better when I told him crap happens and he fessed up to it right away instead of blowing me off ! They are not too bad and pretty sure OEM touch up paint would be fine !
Anyone use it ? Any tips ? And I will have to wait till spring for the warm temps ! Thanksscratch1.jpg Scratch2.jpg

I used the factory touch up paint and it worked great for me.

Don’t try to use it to fill in the hole, just to put color back to where it’s now gone. Wipe off any excess that gets onto sounding area so it will blend in better. It would be best to wait until it’s a bit warmer. Just make sure the area is clean so you can get better adhesion.

Go to the dealership and get it. Agreed with the above post tho on the process. What duplicolor vs dealer ship touch up they are almost the same price.

Thanks everyone!
And I am waiting till spring !
Yea I agree I will get the OEM from dealer. As mention the price is close to off brand !
The parts Dept at my dealer is close to on line price! I see the kit is about 25$ w/ clear coat ,
They should have a small bottle of primer I assume !
That black area is plastic so should be primed ? Or is that primer ?

@Rado bummer....but when people are honest you can’t get upset because they did the right thing. I would use a plastic razor blade and fill it with spot putty then hit it with the oem touch up paint. Use tape on either side of the scrapes to keep it contained

This is the back of the upper Fascia that i removed from my 2016 Ram when i converted to a Sport style bumper, it does not appear to have primer on the back.
I just looked at the back of it again, i see over spray at both ends, but i only see the finish color, not even a bit of primer shows

Thanks everyone.

Quick that is what I am thinking, he stood up ,crap happens

GT thanks for the pics

Blue thanks for line

Simple
It was ice on my driveway he slid on and through him off his path ! And if the touch up looks like crap then yes a repaint . But my plow guy treats me good and gives me a great deal on my long driveway ! So will try the low cost repair first, worth trying a 25$ patch first

Oh yea I agree he is willing to pay for it, He is usually very careful , But with the slight grade in my driveway and Ice below he slipped off track a bit ! So will stop at a couple shops to see if they will do a small touch up. Many around here only want full damage repair jobs not small ones . So will see
