Tow mirror marker lights/puddle lights not working

Hello,

I recently installed new tow mirrors on a 2019 ram classic 1500. The original mirrors did not have any puddle/marker lights and the lights on the new mirror set up do not work. I have not been able to find any information about there being a fuse that controls these lights and wanted to see if anyone has a solution to make the lights on the new mirrors work?

They must be turned on via AlfaOBD or dealer software. Mine did the same thing and both puddle lights and blinker LED's worked after the dealer turned the option on.

I just removed tow mirrors and installed regular folding mirrors on my 2024 warlock 1500 classic.

Below are the things I had to do in alpha obd for the bcm to recognize the mirrors. Notice the 2nd and 3rd item. Have you looked into or enabled these in the bcm? We're they enabled previous to your install?

I'm not certain what mirrors you had previously but, I also had to change door modules it order to make the mirrors work.

I have not enabled these in the BCM. And they would not have been enabled with the previous mirrors on the truck I’m assuming as they did not have the approach light/turn signal light on those mirrors. Thank you for sharing them.
