Tow Mirror question

I have a 2016 limited with standard mirrors that have power fold, auto tint, heat, ...basically every feature the mirrors could have.
QUESTION: is there a TOW mirror with all these features including the auto tint glass?

Yes... you can buy mirrors with whatever functions your truck has now, and it will be plug and play. I swapped the ones on my 2500 to tow mirrors. It took about an hour and they weren't terribly expensive. The only function my truck didn't come with was power folding, but it had puddle lamps, auto dim, and heat. I think I picked them up aftermarket for about $189 each.

There is a stiffener plate that you can order separate. I didn't install it and it didn't cause tremendous issue, but it's purpose is to minimize movement of the larger mirrors with the wind. I did notice that I would get a slight vibration in the image at 60-65 mph with the mirrors folded out.

Did you actually find the auto dim feature in tow mirrors also?? I know the bracket you are speaking of, it's like $30 for the pair.

I'm 99% sure that I did, but I can't recall where I bought them. It was probably 6-7 years ago. It took me a month or two to find them.

I have a pair of gently used black power folding towing mirrors for your 2009 - 2018 RAM and 2019 - 2023 Ram Classic and I think they fit 2500 and 3500 as well, but not positive. Shipping them might be expensive, but do you, or anybody else, live near central/northern California. Perhaps somebody can come pick them up. My 2013 Sport had them on when I purchased it in 2000 and the previous owner had the body colored standard mirrors included, so I swapped them out. They go on and off with 3 screws. Let me know.

Yes, they will fit 1500, 2500, and 3500. The mirrors are the same.

After doing some research I passed on going to the powerfold option. Didnt want to spring for new door modules and other parts. Opted for a set of dna mirrors. Actualy ended up being plug and play with no programming. Looks like his already sold on ebay. Sorry to offend you bud.
