Hello. Finally getting a set of tow mirrors for my 2022 2500. How critical are the support brackets for the mirrors? I've been told that I don't need them and then I've heard the opposite. Thanks

I put the tow mirrors on without the brackets on my 2010 1500 about 10 years ago with no issues at all so far.

If the view starts to get shaky, you need the braces
