I recently bought my 2012 Sport and the tpms just shows N/A. Come to find out, the wheels and sensors are from a 2015 and I was told that that is why they won't read the pressures. They want to sell me all new sensors at $70 a piece. Does anyone know if the truck can be reprogrammed to read the correct frequencies for the sensors i have?

I believe that 09-13 use one frequency and 14-18 use a different one. I don’t think there is anyway to get them to read correctly. Hopefully someone who is a tech or has better experience will chime in. I only know because I have after market wheels on my 14 that I bought sensors from the wheel dealer and they were for a 13 and wouldn’t work in my 14. So I put the stock sensors in.

Nope, you have to swap out the sensors for the correct ones...

If it could be done (and I don't know of anyone that has actually tried) you would need to replace the antennas in each wheel well, the TPMS module and the EVIC. Far easier to just get new sensors.

You can probably get aftermarket ones for less, but you take your chances on them working.
