I have a set of 20" Laramie rims, just rims without vale stem, and wanting to I've asked a tire shop but thought ask here as well since I've gotten a lot of great info here. I asked them if I could take the sensors off my current tires which are stock rims 17". I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500. Is it possible to reuse those sensors on the new rims? I was told I would have to get new valve stems and sensors. Any advice??

As far as I can imagine.. If those are already working, they will be ok to swap. Unless theres some reason they can't be removed without destroying them (being factory). But you can swap aftermarket tpm sensors everyday.

If you're truly having doubts about them being truthful, once the tires are off the rim, have them physically point out the reason why they cant.

you should be able to. for what its worth, you can buy a set of 4 TMPS for under $40 on ebay. not worth swapping them out, imo.
