track bar recall installed but i want a lift kit?

anyone have a lift with a track bar bracket and the new recall? do they interfear with each other. got mine done a few days ago but wasnt sure what would be needed to install a bds lift now that theres two peices of thick metal sandwiching the sides of my trackbar.

if the lift kit bracket goes inside its fine but if they go on the outside its a nogo id have to remove the recall part and just have a fab shop weld ontop of the factory welds.

I guess you'll have to make sure to check the kit installation before you buy it. Most manufacturers have their install instructions online so you shouldn't have much trouble. Also, you should not weld on top of an old weld. To do it right you'd have to cut it out, grind it, re-fit it and weld it.
