Tradesman/Express Upper Glove Box door - a touch of chrome

If you have added the upper glovebox door to your truck, this might be something to give it just a little touch of chrome.

The seller calls these exterior fender or tailgate badges, but in my opinion, It's much to small for that. I think it does work on the interior. I was looking for something that I could use on the upper glovebox door like in the premium trim level trucks. The cost is reasonable for a chrome metal badge, it's of excellent quality, highly polished, certainly fine enough for close inspection as you would on an interior item. Cost is $4.99 from china.

The upper glove box door kit is available from any dodge dealer, I've seen some used on ebay, I bought mine from an ebay seller who is also a dodge dealer. Here's one at a really good price from a private seller. They usually are around 300 for the kit but if you can find a used one I'd jump on it. He dosen't say if the striker is included or not but the inner box and the door are there. You would also need the 4 screws that hold the door to the dash itself.

I did the door upgrade on my 18 and it went really fast. I would look up kit for 19 non-classic and see if the same part number for a gen 4. If you want to buy the kit, Benny can help you verify part numbers and order for you If the same, you can use any how to video. Good luck.

I was having problems with the original emblem not staying attached. So after going without for a while, I got this one off ebay. Like the look and it's staying on so far.

They come as a pair and are the perfect size for the glovebox door. About $10 for the pair.

It's just a bath towel folded up and laid across the top. If you look farther up to my first pics you will see what's underneath it.
