Hey all,
So I have a 12 tradesman with the 4.7 6 speed. I am looking to trade it in and get a new truck in the next month or so. It looks like I will have to order the truck I want because none of the dealers order them quite how I want it set up.
this is the set up I am looking to get into.
2014 ram tradesman 4x4 short box
5.7
8 speed
392's
anti spin diff
protection group (skid plate and tow hooks)
power and keyless entry.
these are my questions.
Is there a big difference in mileage between the 6 and 8 speed with the 392's
anyone running 392's in an 8 speed reg cab speak up please and let me know what you are getting.
I welcome any opinions about this or other set up.
my other question is this. the trucks msrp after the build is around 31000. what do you guys think the dealership would slap for a price on it? I've never custom ordered one.
