I have a 2015 1500 3.6. I am pulling a camper with 2 lithium batteries. The batteries are being charged through pin #4 on my 7 pin electrical connector. My question is how many amps can be supplied through the trailer connector? And, can a fuse blow or worse yet, burn something up? Does the truck have any current limiting circuitry on the 12v it supplies through the trailer connector?

If you are running lithium batteries and charging them through the alternator on your truck without the proper dc/dc charger you are severely degrading the life of the batteries.

That’s why traditional batteries don’t last long. Get a disconnect switch or unhook the 12v power from the truck. Or buy a DC/DC charger for lithium batteries.

Lots of literature on the internet as to why you should do this.

The +12V pin in the 7 pin plug come directly from the battery through F30 which is a 30 amp FMM size fuse.

If these batteries are rated for deep-cycle and intended for RV or boat use, and you haven't made any modifications to the electrical system of the camper, then you should be fine. If these batteries are NOT intended for RV or boat use, then you may have a problem.
