tranny finally went out....tic tic BOOM!!!

well i had a hunch my tranny was goin out so i replaced the solenoid to make it shift but then it started tossin metal shavings so i figured id have some fun......i removed the goveror off it an got my big ol truck up to 138mph and boom goes the tranny so im thinkin about buyin one out of the dodge dealership brandnew.....any advice????

Is the case still good? if so just rebuild it better and stronger

i thought about getting a nv4500 swap done in it......does that sound like a bad idea?

That'd be a great idea, you'd just have computer issues tho

oh and yea the case is in great shape lol my truck hit 100,000 miles and tranny started going lol that figures

i have an 1997 ECU for a dodge ram 5 speed i parted out. would it work???
