Has anyone replaced a trans heater line before. I have a 17 1500 3.0 ecodiesel. I talked to the tech at the dealership and they were saying to lower the back end of the trans but doing that still doesn't free up the line completely. Any tips, suggestions, etc?

When i pulled the coolant lines out on my 4X4 even with the transmission and transfer case dropped down as far as they'd drop with the cross member removed,i ended up cutting them to get them out,i don't know how you'd get a new one back in though,as i was only removing them, lol

Thank you. I was talking to one of the guys from my shop and he was saying I could just cut the new ones and put pressure fittings on there so seal it back up but I'll reply again with the results

Another option would be to find somebody with a bubble flare tool, and bubble flare the lines then use good quality heater hose to put them back together.Gives you a little more flex in the lines
