I have a 06 1500 4.7 magnum that won’t go unless the transmission is overfilled, and when the transmission does Engadge it works great when cold but as soon as it warms up it desides it wants to stay in the higher gears and I have to almost floor it just to get it to come back down so I can actually accelerate otherwise it just Boggs down
From a standing start 1st 2nd are fine but after 3rd she desides to go straight into 5th and has a hard time comeing back down without aggressive throttle input and on the highway I literally have to stomp on the gas while Cruze is set or it won’t come out period going up hill. I tried draining down to the correct amount of fluid and she won’t stay in gear, it just lurches and the transmission disengages and it does this repetitively. This is my daily and I really need it fixed, any help would be greatly appreciated.
