Do you guys leave them installed at all times or is it removable after you program the truck?

I like the sleak and clean look and didn't want something perminately installed

Thanks

You can remove it and still keep the tune loaded in the truck. If you dont want to leave it plugged in, then I would wait until the end of the month and grab 1 of the new Dodge specific InTunes. They will be a basic plug in tuner like Superchips. Just load the tune, and then put it back in the box until you need to make any changes.

I have the Trinity and leave it unplugged, just for the crime deterrent aspect. I try not to give anyone any reason to smash the window and take whatever.
Also- the Trinity's plug is kinda awkward to me, there's got to be a good way to run the wire to keep it out of the way, other than the A post mount.

im thinking this all over and wanted some input. How does the device mount if it were permanent. Is there a pillar mount or dash. has anyone done anything other than the norm? Any suggestions? Thanks... Keep up the great work!

The Trinity comes with a suction cup mount that you can put on your windshield or dash. many guys go with the Bullydog single gauge pod and just use the Trinity gauge pod adapter. Links to both of these are below...

my question is how do you route the wire to keep it neat and out of the way. I feel like I'm going to kick it when I'm in the truck.

Well i think it looks better on the pillar but for safety i would use the suction cup AND if you still have warrranty well you can hide it from the dealer..As for the wire i would hide it as best you can..

My trinity's plug comes out the back so its a little cleaner looking, I'm assuming that must be an older version.

Matt, I got my pillar mount and love it. Since the new trinity has the wire out the back, is there a good way to run it without bending it too much? Mine's sticking out a bit to prevent that from happening and just thought I'd ask

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one that had trouble with that screw, I was starting to think I was on crack.

I went a different route with my bullydog. I Velcro mounted mine to the empty pocket just left of the ac control. Drilled a hole in the bottom of the pocket for the wire to go through. This way doesn't blatantly advertise to everyone like the pillar mount does.

Can you post a pic of this? I was hoping to take advantage of that pocket as I never use it, but have not messed with it because I didn't know how to remove it and didn't want to drill without knowing where everything is located behind/around it. Thanks in advance!
