Hi, I have a 2012 Dodge ram with about 130k miles that keeps shutting off when i start my truck and it works well but it turns off when its in motion. When it shuts off i have to put it in park and turn on again and it goes. Truck drives well in long distance but in short drives it turns off constantly and i have been close to crashing on multiple occasions. I have taken it to the dealership and they say nothing is wrong with it but I take it home and it does it again. I know its an electrical issue because when it doesnt turn off the truck runs smoothly and the engine sounds great it just keeps turning off and I have gone through multiple batteries already. Would really love to save my truck before selling it because its a risk to drive.
