I think a tornado may have passed through due to the amount of sirens.

Here's where my truck was parked...

Two trees split 3 ways to miss my truck only one tiny little branch landed on the antenna mount.

House is good but I'll need a new mailbox.

^That^

Glad you're OK, additionally, check around wherever you drive, better yet check your tires before you drive, projectile splinters happen and your sidewalls were exposed during the storm.

Good advice and thanks for the well wishes. Apparently there was a micro-cell/burst with straight line winds of 70mph. No tornado, but 100,000 without power and there are trees, power lines and traffic signals down everywhere.

When it started it was like a giant was cutting off treetops with a sword. I've never seen so many branches flying across the sky.

Glad your ram is ok. I have a tree that I cringe every time a high wind storm comes through. It drops huge limbs.

Had that happen with my boat once. Boat was sitting in the driveway, and a storm came thru, and when I went out to survey the damage, there was a tree limb about 1/2 the diameter of the limb in the 1st pic, sitting on the ground on the starboard (drivers) side of my boat, maybe a foot or so from it, about even with the transom.

The ONLY tree it could have & did come from, was on the port side of my boat, about 75' away. The limb miraculously missed the 15k 200 hp motor (which was only 2 months old), AND the hull when it came down, as well as the house and garage which the boat was between.

It took me a hr or so to cut it up with the chainsaw and drag it away.

Yeah, I lucked out. It definitely could have been worse. Power is still out and I'm not sure if it's coming back soon.

I was getting gas for the generator and chainsaw and got to talking to a guy there. He said a tree at his sons house uprooted from the back yard, rolled over the house and landed on his truck.

I've never seen winds like this, mother nature is one bad mother...

Update, probably about 5,000 lbs of debris that missed my truck. My father-in-law came over and just knows how to do things. He rigged up a couple of linemen pulleys and a chain fall and we lifted the tree off of my neighbor's shed. While it was in the air we used my truck to twist the entire tree crown which was probably around 2500lbs and drop it next to the shed. I have no idea how that branch didn't demolish that shed.

Using my Pentastar which performed really well during the lifting and dragging of debris.
