So......Thursday I'm playing with the truck, getting her ready for the show this weekend. I got the tails on, went to take pics of them, realized that I have NO brake lights. Popped the stockers back on, no brake lights. Seriously?

So, I start playing with it. For some crazy reason, didn't know that the truck needed to be ON to show the brakes. Gotta love that......so I had the truck "on", and the brakes are on, but won't go off. UGH. Damn stop light switch somehow got pushed in a little too far. Not sure how that happened, I wasn't around it when I was messing with the truck. Got one ordered, picked it up before I went to Dave's - but didn't need it (but I have a spare!). I pulled the switch out, its a spring, so - good to go.

Then........on the way home from Dave's today I hear this loudass sound, sounds like something is flopping around under the truck. So, I pull off the highway, look around and see nothing..........great........hop back on the highway, there it is again. ****. Pull over on the side of the f'n highway and crawl under the damn thing. Nothing. Then - I see it, somehow the front liner had come loose at the bumper and was flapping around like crazy! :shooter: Shoved that ***** back in and got back on my way!

But..........I still love my *****. :naughty:

Oh sounds like fun. I had the little cover inside the front cover rattle against a tire before...but it was my fault, lol. It was after one of the number of times I had to either remove my headlights or while I was adjusting them. I simply forgot to push the pin back in.

That's very strange. I thought it was a safety feature to have the brake lights always work even without the ignition on. Oh wells.

Did you remove the fender liner when you installed your body lift? Might not have got it back on good.

nope, didn't remove it.

I thought about the body lift today - but she's been on the highway quite a few times since then, just odd that it happened when it did
