I have a 2014 ram 1500 ( sport if it really matters 4x4) and i had just put a new remanufactured 8 speed( 8hp70) in the truck. So i got it all bundled up ready to go to go through the procedure in filling the tranny. Truck wont start or try to turn over with
Engine code U0101 lost communication with tcm
The PRND are all lit up and cant move shifter knob no matter how hard i push the brake
Pulled the connector on transmission and there is power and ground. And have to disconnect battery to shut off from the run position.
Try and start it dash says service transmission continue in D. Do not shift or turn off engine.
Does the tcm need reflash because of the new tranny?
Im baffled here the truck wont even turn over. HELP!!
