Just picked up my 89 w150 with a 318 and I'm looking to do a tune up on it. Are there any specific plugs or plug wires I should get? And what else should I do to it. Has 80k original miles and besides an oil change I have not clue when anything was done to the engine.

Go with the Autolite or Mopar copper plugs from the local parts store. Always go with the same spark plugs that the manufacturer used unless you've added a turbo or supercharger. I've had great luck with the MSD Street Fire spark plug wires, but everyone has their own taste when it comes to spark plug wires. Also, you should do the distributor cap and rotor. Again, i've had great luck with MSD for them as well.

Changed the spark plugs yesterday and the truck already runs better. This is what I pulled out
