Tweeters in my 07 Dodge ram.

I'm wanting to put tweeters in my truck and I want to hide them. My dash has factory spots in it for the tweeters from the factory, mine did not come with any. So I want to put after market tweeters there but I don't know how to take that cover off to get to the spots. Any one done this before?

You need to CAREFULLY pry the cover up. it is held on only by clips, no screws or anything

Is it possible to mount after market tweeters there? I would need some kind of bracket.

I believe that spot is made for 3.5" speakers, not tweeters, but its always possible to do something! Just may require a little more modification.

it should be very easy to mount tweeter there. What I would do is make a 1/4 hardboard plate that fills the speaker opening then mount my tweeter into the middle of the plate
