Uconnect 3.0 to 8.4 Help

Hello,

New to the dodge scene and tried searching but cannot get everything I need answered. Here is my situation. I have a 2018 2500 diesel tradesman with the Uconnect 3.0. (NOT THE 5IN SCREEN) and I have someone willing to sell me their 8.4 and bezel from a wrecked 2017 1500 for what appears to be a good deal. What else would I need or do I need to check for to make this work? Fan speeds? Volume as I have no steering wheel controls... etc. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Yeah I am reading that, but then am hearing that they made changes in 2018... I think I may say just screw it and keep what I have almost, might not be worth it unless someone knows something I do not. LOL

I'm curious about swapping a RA4 into a 2018 also due to the September update issues with the UAQ ?????????????
