Good afternoon,

I’m looking to add the under hood light assembly to my 2015 Tradesman. Seems quite simple. However, when I compare the connector in the engine compartment wiring to those on the 68090861AA wiring harness, it does not look like it matches for connection. First picture attached is the connector in my truck. The second one is of the 68090861AA harness connectors available on line. Any help is most appreciated.

I think their is a protector plug/cap on yours. Remove it and see if it looks better...

I can attest. The incandescent is about as good as holding a lighter up to light the bay. I already converted mine to LED, but if that aftermarket LED were an option when I did mine, I would have done that.
