Since putting in my new head unit I've wanted to make a small box to fit in the passangers side well under the rear seat. I'll be using a 10" sub that I've had for years and in several cars. I want to keep the box low and put a grill over the speaker in case I flip the seat up and need to lay something across it.

I've seen boxes for sale but the price is crazy. Some are very nice but I'm not paying $300 for $20 worth of MDF.

What have you guys came up with?

I built my own using mdf and fiberglass. There are several threads on here outlining the steps including one I made showing the process I used.

I paid $250 for this box plus shipping, and it is well worth the money.

$100 prefab for the dual, singles are like $60 for Q-sound. 5/8” mdf and handles 1000 RMS with a little reinforcement. Ladies love it

When you say plug n play is it really that simple? LOL. I would like to add some bass to my system
yes, I had a kid that worked of me installed his on his lunch hour. Probably an hour or so.
Hardest part is running power wire to battery thru firewall.

I think I bought mine from best buy for my old 2012 crew cab for like $150 and it was solid.

What year and crew or quad?

Fox Acoustics all the way. Cost effective and great sound and quality. I actually just ordered my second box because I wanted one with more air volume to get the most out of my sub. For the money, you cannot find anything close.

Bought mine like four weeks ago, no word from the company, shipping hasn't updated in four weeks. Put your patient hat on lol...

I think my first box took about 3 weeks or so when there was nothing going on in the world. I fully expect this to take 4-6 weeks, so I am in no rush. I read something about them only coming in once a week on Friday's to ship out orders.
