Hey guys, I am in the middle of putting a CT sounds system in the truck. I am keeping the stock display, so I bought an LC2i pro line converter, 2 4ohm subs, a 1500w 6 channel amp, and it's installed in an under-rear-seat box. Currently, I have power to the amp and the LC2i pro, but I get no sounds or bass from the subs; they are just not working. Does anyone have a wiring diagram to make sure I have it right?

LC2i pro:
L Rear speaker tapped
R Rear speaker tapped
Constant 12V and ground

Subs are in series to the amp on channels 1 and 2

Had LC2I in my Ford. Vaguely remember someone on the Expedition forum having an issue. Was interested in getting one, and ran across this while researching. Turns out Ford’s DSP does something with the sound/ signal coming from the radio. Don’t know how to explain it in engineering lingo, but here goes…

The signal coming from the radio on the wires is normally what we tap into for a signal source for the amp. However, something gets changed when it goes through the DSP. It was AFTER the DSP where I was able to get signal for the LCI2 to do its thing.

My original location was the wire bundle just under the rear door seal just before running under the driver side quarter panel. As mentioned earlier, there was no sound/ signal there. At least not one that the LCI2 liked.

So, all that said, maybe look for a location AFTER the electronics. I’ve got a ‘24 Ram, but not really played with it. So, not familiar with the electronics like I was with Ford. Probably similar thought/ design process.

Do you have the remote out on the lci2 wired to the remote in on the amp? Sounds like the amp doesn't know to turn on.

I'm not familiar with the lci module, but when I installed my eq and amps in my 2015 with the basic radio, I discovered there's no switched power to the head unit, it's using the canbus to know when to turn on. I ended up pulling switched power off the switched cigarette lighter plug for my remote signal.
