Finally got around to swapping out my chrome handles (that were shadow chromed ) and peeling . I wanted to keep the painted housing and do something different with the handles themselves . I have bullet line rockers and step sides .... So I got a set of textured black handle assemblies and took the handles out of the housing and I am more than happy with the result! a68c4ff2ae424fddc7915477eeab0506.jpg

Thanks ! Was a pain in the ass getting the handles off then separating them.from their respective housing but well worth it!

Looks great! I second that it's a PITA to separate the handle from the housing. I did something similar to mine since I removed all the other chrome on the truck. The only difference is, I vinyl wrapped the chrome to a satin metallic gray instead. I think I like the approach you took better though, it'll probably last longer and looks almost the same as mine.

Great job! I did a half ass approach to vinyl wrapping mine while they were on the truck. I lost my patience and had the other handles in the garage so I went that route! Yours look awesome tho!
