Updates Updates & more Updates! What are they??

Had my truck in for leak around the rear window.. I had already added weatherstrip to the 3rd brake, but still had a leak. Dealers fix was replace brake light assembly, the tech doing the job decided to goop the brake light and the tail end of the roof seals with black silicone for good measure. Looks to me like he used a tube of kitchen & bath silicone and an old corn broom to apply it.... Never the less... While it was in they did some software updates and I can't find anywhere on the nets or this forum what they are.. Anyone knowledgeable????

The last 2 updates i had were for the compass and for the hub differential. This month/last month (oil changes) didn't notice either "problem"

Service advisor explained it to me this way they now have the software available that Chrysler wanted then. Sorry about double post was trying back space on iPad. How do you edit post? Hhhmm

Yeah i know I'm still getting used to this too. I was told the updates are no big deal. My wife just made a very good point look how many times our apps and phones etc are updated. We took the boat to the lake before and after the hub update you ask me no difference in 4wd 2wd at least they do update. Right?
