I have read through about 40 pages on the forum to hopefully find a similar problem to mine with no luck, so sorry if I’m asking an old question. I have been wanting to put a cargo cam in my 2014 2500 but read that I would need at least the RA3 in order to do it so I picked one up off eBay and an 8.4” bezel w/ volume control from infotainment. Installed it today and got the anti-theft message as well as a constant ding in my dash, the 911 message, flashing brake light indicator and traction control light on my dash. I was able to get the pin for the anti-theft from my local dealership, and I ordered the dummy antenna for the 911 error message, but the ding and dash lights are still going off. Do I need to take the truck in to have it flashed? Or is there a software that can be downloaded from Uconnect to help solve my issues?

It sounds like you may not have plugged everything back in behind the radio bezel. I don't recommend Infotainment products.

I didn’t really want to go with infotainment, but I also didn’t want to buy extra parts to upgrade to the 7 speed blower motor controls. My 4 speed does what I need just fine. Either way, it’s what I picked up for simplicity but I’m positive that everything was properly connected. I even pulled it 100% back out to verify that exact thing. Unfortunately not the case.

Do you plug anything into the infotainment bezel? Its possible its modules are bad.

Just the volume control which worked fine.
If you are sure you plugged in the accessory button panel below the HVAC bezel, I would try to clear your codes and see if they come back. If you don't have a means of clearing codes, give it several drive cycles/time to see if they clear.
