Just replaced my upper and lower control arms on my 1500. Truck has RC 6” lift was on truck when I bought it. Ball joints were flush when installed and after drive to work I gave everything a look over and noticed them no longer flush. The originals was flush on driver side and passenger side had gap. But now both new ones have gaps do I gotta return these arms and go with aftermarket’s? Both sides look like this.image.jpg

I would think they should be flush, and they definitely shouldn't change. Did you install the balljoints in the new arms, or did them come pre-installed? There is a snap ring retainer installed, right? If so, did it fit tight?

Ball joint came installed already on control arms and yes there’s a snap ring on the under side. The gap was between the control arms and and snap ring but after a drive work that gap is now flush with underside and gap is now on upper side of control.

That looks suspicious, not very many are happy with RC lift kits .

I have new set of Moogs that I noticed both have a gap like that underneath between the snap ring and the arm. And I just installed a new Moog ball joint into my Core arm and it's the same thing. Didn't seem right to me either but I can't see it being a fluke in all three cases
