USB ports in 4th gen center arm rest under lid

HI , the usb ports in the arm rest under the lid in my 4th gen , can that be used for playing music from a usb ?

@Rob McClure the left side USB port in the upper center console arm rest is the Media USB port that goes to the radio.

My 2014 Laramie doesnt play USBs.

My 2014 Laramie doesnt play USBs.

If you have an 8.4 radio(I think the 5" radio does also), it should play music from a USB. If not it's probably a file format issue or radio problem.
