USB showing an unsupported device with nothing plugged in.

For the last week, I have been getting an error message saying, " This device is not supported." The media center shows that something is plugged into USB position #1, but nothing is plugged into the system at all. Do you have any tips on where to look at getting a replacement part/installation? Or is there a way to just disconnect the port altogether so I can use the other ports and see my screen?

Have you tried plugging something into that port to see if the systems recognizes it and resets itself?
