OK guys, I have read and searched with no luck. I swapped a 97 5.9 into my 99 Ram 1500 that originally had a 5.2 in it. The vacuum line that feeds the climate control, cruise control and 4WD is connected just like my friends 2000 5.2. My problem is, my cruise and 4WD doesn't work and if I accelerate hard, my A/C vent shifts to defrost of floor. (not sure) This all indicates a vacuum leak but I can't find one anywhere. Any ideas? I have a hand vacuum pump with a gauge on it. I guess I could test individual components? I noticed the 4WD didn't work before the engine swap, if the shift solenoid on the axle is bad could that cause a leak? TIA.....Al

Looked at this again last night.... I have vacuum on one of the lines going to the actuator on the front axle when I put the transfer case in 4WD otherwise I don't have vacuum there. I have never seen the 4wd light on and can't do anything to make come on. Is that related to this whole issue? Thanks in advance....Al
