My 2014 sport has the non charger hood, but I just received the MP-R fiberglass hood with functioning scoops. I'm trying to figure out a way to funnel the air from the scoops to the air box. So I stumbled onto the Air Grabber. I really love the look, but the 2014 Sport grill has the loovers that close up at highway speeds which may work against the "ram air" function of the Air Grabber.
My question is: Has anyone with the challenger hood made their scoops functional? I'm thinking I'll need to block off the front and force the air from the scoops into the top of the Air Grabber.

Well the more I looked it it the more I wanted it so I ordered the Air Grabber. We'll see how it integrates with the fiberglass hood and I'll post pictures if it works. If it doesn't I'll hide the fiberglass hood behind the shop and forget it. :)

I talked to Vararam before I bought my S&B and they told me that the grill closing won't have an effect on the air into the Vararam. He said the air enters higher up on the front end of the truck and is above the grill shutters. I'll be interested to see how this looks on your truck!

The only spot higher than the grille is the gap at the hood and that has a gasket now too. You can pop it off for sure but that's still just a tiny slot for air to enter through. I'm not a Vararam basher....but I do know how **** works. lol
If that's where air enters from then why do they make you remove the radiator cover and install a scoop aimed at the grille? lol

Correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm just guessing...but isn't there a big opening above the grill shutters for bringing air in? I didn't buy the air grabber because I thought for my purposes that the S&B would be better, but I was just stating what Vararam told me lol
