Has anyone modified their engine cover to fit back on with the Vararam intake? I'm interested in fitting this back on if I can

i dont think you need to modify anything.
it should fit right under the vararam. though you might need to raise the air grabber a bit.

i never put mine back on. but ive seen pics posted of members that did. so its possible.

I put mine back on without any mods. Only PITA is trying to tighten down the VR with the cover on. Pretty sure you need to install the cover first; don't think you can get it around the VR once it is installed. Pretty sure there is a pic of both installed in my profile.

I was gonna put mine back on, but then realized that when I was showing off the Vararam to everyone, they all made some comment similar to "damn! That's a BIG engine!", so I decided to leave the engine cover off lol.

Like said, the cover will fit fine without any modification. It is a tight fit, but it will work.
