I've got about 58K on the clock with the original brakes. The mechanic said they were still good when I got new tires a few months ago.

Recently, the truck vibrates when I have to brake on the interstate. It doesn't do it at all at lower speeds.

It could be glazed rotors, but I also wonder if it's an ABS issue?

Side to side vibration that can also be felt in the steering wheel?

I had a grand Cherokee that vibrates like that. The cause was warped rotors.

At highway speeds, the warped rotors cause the calipers to oscillate side to side fast enough to cause a vibration, but at lower speeds, it’s not noticed.

I agree, check the rotors first.

"Good" means the rotor isn't scored or thin and the pads have sufficient thickness. It does not mean the pads are not worn unevenly.
Uneven pads, uneven contact with rotor...sing it with me: "wobble baby, wobble...…."
As stated above you could have warping of rotors too.

Agree with all above. Sounds like you have a warped rotor or rotors. I would reccomend checking them first. Not sure if you are a D.I.Y kind of guy but they are not difficult to diagnose or replace yourself if you chose.

If you feel it in the steering wheel its warped front rotors.

If you feel it in the peddle/seat of the pants its rear rotors.

My rears were shot at lees than 18K (2.5 yr from new), I just replaced front a rear rotors and pads with the powerstop Z36 kit. Drastic improvement.

I have been seeing allot of 16' with brake issues like this, I really think Ram got a bad batch or rotors from their supplier.

Thanks guys! I've got to bring it to a stealership for recalls anyway, so I will get them checked.
