I searched the forums didn't come up with anything, I have a very small ATV trailer that gets lost behind the tailgate and with my old truck the Pioneer Radio had a button to view the Back Up Cam while not in reverse so i could check on everything. Is there a way to do this on the Uconnect 8.4? Thanks.

You would probably have to use a lockpick or jailbreak device

Or you may be able to install a switch that would fool the radio to think you're in reverse and going under 5mph.

sorry you cant. the radios are canbus controlled so the cam is not actually activated by a reverse trigger

Google ... CustomTronix

They have a sw jailbreak that will do it and you can add extra cameras (backup, Cargo/3rd brake, front)

Or Lockpik as mentioned.

I have a lockpick and can view my rear camera when ever I want....that's the only way your going to do it since the factory view gets its power for the camera off the back up light circuit....where as the lock pic generates its own voltage to the camera
