I would be making my own bio-diesel fuel if I had a CTD

hey thanks man...I love my truck i just hate that it has a V6 and an engine swap is too much of a pain with all the additional things that would need to be done...ill be in the market for a 3rd gen Hemi really soon that will be sitting on a 6" lift and 37s hopefully....soon, real soon.

325/65/18 rubbed on my truck when i had my fabtech 6".

u want a truck with decent mileage get a v6 dakota.

3.7/3.9 Dakotas are PIGS on fuel compared to a good runing 4.7

03 Dakota 4.7 with JBA headers, HO cams, Superchips 91, and 3.55s with 31.5" ats was able to pull down 23 mpg on the highway at with the cruise set at 75-80 mph on a 6 hour road trip. On the way back pulling a HEAVY 2,500 lbs Uhaul car transport with a 2,800 lbs 2002 Sentra on the trailer and a bed full of furniture to the top of the cab, a full set of 245/70/R16 tires in wheels in the Sentra, driving 60 mph with the OD OFF @ 2,500 rpm, the truck got 14.5 MPG. I had a hard time keeping it at 60 mph pulling that load and finally had to just set the cruise. The truck wanted to run 70+ with very little throttle pressure pulling all that weight. Truck absolutely hauls ass when you hammer on it too. We pulled the HO cams and put 218 cams in it, did some tuning with the Split Second PSC-1 for the cams. Still gets about 16-18 mpg in town with the accelerator on the floor everywhere, the a/c blasting, and lots of idling. 340 HP and 20+ MPG highway in a 4,500 lbs truck. It is a BLAST.
