Want to change the tilt on non power driver seat

I have a 2012 Express reg. cab and the driver's seat would be more comfortable if the whole base was tilted a little more toward the rear. I thought it might be as simple as unbolting the seat and stacking some washers under the front mounts but the mounting bolts don't look like they work the way I expected. They bolt horizontally instead of vertically.

Does anybody know a way to change the tilt (permanently) on a non power seat?

maybe create a bracket? with 2 holes, one to bolt back to the stock hole in the floor, then to the seat? might end up raising the seat to much though.
