want to dynamat rear cab panel........question

So my plan is to dynamat the rear of my single cab......I already have to rear side panels off...........how do I get those plastic hanger things off.....just dont want to brreak them if I can help it.....thanks!

Pull them from the top and then there will be a bolt hiding behind them. They were a 10mm on my 03 SC

I thought they were a torx bit on those.....I could be wrong though.

If you pull them out a bit, the top should lean forward. If you take a large screw driver and push down on the part that is hidden when pushed in, it should release the tab while you continue pulling outward on the grocery bag hook part. It takes some force. Behind that is a T25 torx bit, maybe T20. The easy part is taking it off. Wait til you put them back on :)

I would take some tape and stick the metal tabs in the center of the hole on the cab wall. Otherwise you will have a hard time lining the screws back up.

I would do a double layer of dynamat while you are there. Careful of the vents too. Might want to use some dynamat to hold the vent in place. Mine wiggled a bit, thus might have rattled.

Just get in there and do it brother. I stripped my whole interior. From carpet to headliner. It's not a big deal
