I would like to run 5'' tips but am curious as to what inlet diameter I need to get? I plan on just hacking off the OEM tips then buying a slip fit 5'' outlet tip for it. Anyone know the size I need? Thanks.

Oh just washed her after work she looks so clean I love it! Thought id share a pic as well.

My magna flows come from a 2.5" pipe. It looks like they go 2.5 to 3.5 or 4 and then up to 5". I know that is not exactly the sizes you need but maybe it gives up and idea.

stock pipe is 2.25, I have only seen one tip that is 2.25 in 5" out. Most are 3" or 4" in 5" out, so youll need an adapter

I love the look of the 5'' tips on these trucks. So I guess I have to find a 5'' tip an have a exhaust shop weld it up.

To be honest I might of been one of the first people to do this to the Gen 4 rams when these trucks first came out in 09..at that time truckin magazine were the only other ones that I've seen do it and there wasn't a single aftermarket piece available for these trucks yet. So after I seen the truckin test truck I immediately went to an exhaust shop and got a custom 3" cat back exhaust built with 5" diesel tips. All they did was notched the diesel tips at the end and bent the ends down enough so they could weld the tips onto the tailpipe. It wasn't perfect but nobody seen that anyways.

You think intakes are expensive these days? Air raid intakes were the first aftermarket piece available way back then and they tell me I was the second person in Canada to receive one after the long wait, not bad considering I paid $565 for the stupid thing!!! Yeah I wasn't too smart back then lol.

Not sure where your located but I have a new set of 5" tips from a mangnaflow exhaust siting in my basement that I'm can't use sold my 1500 and have a 2500 now. They where replacement ones that I never used when mine got damaged in shipping I just never changed them out.

Are they rolled tips?
And how much for them?
