Hi all. I can't remember if I posted about this last year when it happend, but i had major leaks develop in my 2017 RAM 1500 Longhorn both in the back and front. Water poured in, and since it was parked for a whle, mold grew virtually everywhere inside. I got all that cleaned out and treated and the RAM dealer did the usual 3rd brakelight replace and cleaned out some other areas in the back, and also clear blockage in the sunroof drain. Eventually, the truck got aired out well and returned to normal, not even a stain. Now I see a water leak developing yet again. This time it looks confined to the front. I came out to find water beaded up all over the windshield. Then I noticed a drip coming down at the top front where the garage door and moonroof controls are, coming down from around the plastic moulding. I also noticed accumulation of water in the material over the A pillar on the driver side. I didn't see where the water got in, but that's where it became visible. So this could be one or more leak spots. I took it back to RAM. They looked it over and tested it and told me that the sunroof was not blocked and everything looked to be in good shape. They then said they could not figure out what it was, and the only thing they coud do next would be to take the roof lining down and investigate. That had a starting cost of $2000 plus whatever came up. I told them I wasn't ready to do that. They returned the truck to me, no charge for looking it over. This is really frustrating because it seems like the history of truck leaks should be extensive enough that the dealer could narrow it down to a limited number of specific issues, especially knowing that the water is coming in form the top/front. They did give me the number of a specialist to try. I don't know his exact specialty. I'm just wondering if I can get a consensus on waht this issue is. I only see two water spots as mentioned above. I don't know how they ascertained that the sunroof was not blocked, and I couldn't get much more information from them on how they tested it or inspected it, and I decided not to press it. Any information or relevant experience will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
