I just got a 2004 Ram. Used to be a work truck and had a big gaping hole where the radio should be. I bought a head unit and the wiring harness adapter and went to install the new head unit, but I could not find a constant power source in the factory plug. Had to run a new wire for constant power.
I also don't have power to the OBD2 port
I can't lock and unlock the doors using the power door locks unless the truck is running.
I have checked fuses (including fuse 51) and don't see a problem there.
I feel like there is a circuit somewhere that should have constant power for the power locks, OBD2 and radio but it is faulty. Anybody have any ideas before I print out wiring diagrams and start tracing circuits?
