What awning do you use

I have a Leitner rack, looking at the Quickpitch 20 second weather shade. Appears to be very similar quality and construction to the Alu-Cab awning just a bit more coverage.

Any thoughts or opinions?

I like the batwing design, but don’t have one - I’ve got 2 much cheaper/simpler awnings, a James Baroud 2.0 and a Rhino Rack 2.0.

Do reviews for that one say it really doesn’t need poles deployed to stabilize it?

There is one pole that you can pull down and some draw cords you can also use for wind. From what I have seen though you don’t need them unless it is above 15mph

I have a roofnest Lite wing carbon fiber. I like it because it is enclosed by a metal housing and not some canvas bag. Weighs under 30 lbs.
