My father always taught me, never ever change the colour of a vehicle... it drastically reduces the value of the vehicle on resale, and painters rarely if ever will get the joints, hidden areas under foam, trim, etc..

Recommendation: Sell your truck and buy the colour you want

Experience: Father owned a Dodge Dealer for 15 years.

JMHO of course.

Just gonna warn you... if your doing it yourself, it's gonna be ALOT of sanding. I had to take breaks just so I wouldn't go crazy from doing it so much lol

Leave it the color that it is now and just do some striping or two tone type setup unless your planning on painting the door jambs, under the hood and every other nook and cranny on the truck. nothing worse than opening a hood and its another color underneath it. Just my thoughts though, Im a little bit OCD on stuff like that.

candy red would be awesome. Either the whole truck or just stripes, either would look nice.

candy red and white with red pearl would look really sweet. the color match inside pannels will also add a nice touch. maybe even alittle fiberglass work on the lower kicks and the center stack. it is gonna be awsome i am sure. the black is still sick looking also. can't go wrong with black and crome.

Is there a theme for the truck yet? Gotta say a black truck with ghosted in paint would look killer. It just needs to be enough to catch someones eye to draw them in and let them wonder over the truck looking at all the extra details you had put on.
