What did you do to your Gen3 today?

I always thought the quality of the oil and things like that are the same and that's it's cheaper because they buy in enormous amounts, therefore lower price. Now I know tv stands and **** like that are low quality. But if the oil is too I might as well stop buying there! I will say I got a autozone to price match Walmart once before, they weren't happy but they did it lol.

I work at Oriellys part time and I know we won't and we don't even get an employee discount on it worth using because it ain't marked up really. I can't really imagine they buy more than the parts stores do.

I called oriellys cause walmart sells mobil 1 5w20 extended performance (for the mini van) for $28, but orielly had it for $39.99... quite a difference there. I do prefer to buy parts and what not at orielly due to warranty, etc.

Yeah it is a difference and I don't know the exact details as to what's different I only know they are from the reps for the companies

Yea I'd rather get it at local parts stores cause I HATE Walmart, it's just lately the service at them have been horrible! I no longer see the older people working and it's a bunch of college kids that have the biggest attitude. I don't have a Oreilys sadly, so I go to Walmart for the oil cause I'm in and out and they don't say 1 word to me lol. BUT if there is a different quality to the oil I'll deal with the college brats

I know what you mean all of us are in our 20's at mine but we all have actual knowledge cause we all do mechanic works or parts work. But not all of our local shops are like that. I just lucky and work in farm country so we get a lot of old school farmers looking for hard to find parts too.

Just replaced a $50 light bulb in the truck........

It still irritates me that Dodge made a system in which a light bulb can cause a fault, but the light bulb is not replaceable as a single unit, you have to replace the entire module.

I'm talking about the passenger's airbag switch. It did make my Air Bag light go off, so I've got that going for me.

My friend got bored so he hopped on the good ole photoshop and rendered my truck up exactly how I wanted it. Best impromptu present ever! If only he knew I want the axles powdercoated green...

Only one question for y'all. Do yalls rocker switches light up and if so does it stay on? Has it drained your battery? Should I wire into the key start so it turns off when I turn off the truck

It's a real bumper made by bodyguard bumpers, but they don't make one for the first half of the 3rd gen Rams, ive asked them if they could make one custom and they just replied that they're releasing new designs at SEMA so wait until then. I'm hoping I can get one because I love the way it looks.
