Grabbed a set of Rebel black center caps, the bracket that I needed to reinstall my steps and ordered (4) winter tires for my Rebel wheels.

Had the bed sprayed today. This guy did an absolute perfect job.

Full_Size_Render_jpg.jpg

I had my truck in the dealer service bay for a recall a week ago or so and was talking about what to do next. Was quoted just about 1100 bucks for a spray in bedliner. Ended up calling around and found an actual line-x shop about a mile away from there. Called them and was quoted $425 over the phone. Tried dropping by a couple times after work just to meet the guy that works there and work out a deal but he always had a sign up that he was out delivering trucks. Called again, was told to leave my truck and drop the keys in the door and they'd do it the next day. Did that and picked it up today when he was there. The reason he's gone every evening is because he's picking up and dropping off trucks at the local dealers. So for doing little to no work whatsoever the dealers around here are trying to sucker people out of $600+. I bet they even say they're not supposed to but for just this one time they can do it for $899!!!
That looks great. You got a good deal. I got a quote to do the line x and they wanted $699.

In the office the board said $475 short bed and $575 longbed. I'm really happy with it.

Corrected the paint on my fiberglass tonneau cover, preparing to install some 3M type clear film on it to help prevent minor scratches and water spots.

Did a few things recently...just getting around to posting. Since my truck is a few years old now with 36K miles on it, it seemed like all the black aftermarket parts were going to $hit. So, I removed the bull bar, steps, light bar and wheels. The wheels were the only black add-on that were still in very good condition, but it was time for a change. I replaced the steps with different gloss black ones and installed a new set of Fuel Assault wheels in gloss black. I also replaced the headlights with Tyco projectors and replaced the tail lights with LED's. While I was at it, I added a LED 3rd brake light and tinted the stock fog lights too. I'm liking the cleaner look it has now without the bull bar and light bar on the back, but I'm still thinking it's missing something. Oh yeah, also ordered a "Mr. Hood Scoop".... soon to be installed.

Got my Truxedo Pro X15 in the mail today. Took my about 30 minutes to throw it on. I have had 2 of there covers in the past, both the lo Pro.

I like how this one is slightly lower still and is not a gloss type vinyl. This is like a canvas type material.
