I bought a cabin filter and cover. Installed. I watched some vids on you tube and got a little worried about clogged evap core. My oldest vehicle is a 2002. I thought cabin filters were the norm since 2000. I haven't had to change or even open a airbox in 25 years. I pulled out my fan and used a bore scope and luckily my core was clean. I stuck a vacuum in it got out all the plastic pieces out. It was a pita but certainly a required thing to do. Nick

@Addicted2fishing - To answer your question it's not looking to good for me to stay in the Ram family. A Ram with a diesel engine is outside my price range based on the M.S.R.P., but I've not spoken to a salesperson yet about it. The other truck I'm looking at is the Chevy Silverado. I know that might **** some people off, but price wise and gas engine reliability is a little better that the Hemi. Sorry to say.

@Socalramfan - Your dog looks awesome.

Now for the regular posting stuff. Got the oil changed on it and drove it over the weekend. :sleepy:

GM engine reliability is better than the Hemi?

are you stuck living in 2005 or are you just high on the good stuff?

Got my new low and fog LEDs install that I got from Underground Lighting, and finally wired up the light bar while I had the grill off. Had a couple of questions and Danny @Underground Lighting called me right back and took care of me. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for lighting upgrades.

3 days in a row for me, time to go bird hunting I think. Also the reason I have a pass to an automatic car wash, between birds ******** on my truck everyday and salt during the winter, it's almost necessary to keep the vehicle looking decent. Drives me crazy, been through the car wash the last 3 days with rain forecasted each night, what a waste!

I know a lot of people are anti automatic car washes but in this part of the country it helps to keep my trucks rust free, the bird stuff isn't as hard to deal with but might as well not have to deal with that either. I hand wash and dry my classic car, that takes forever so I feel ok being lazy with the truck.

Classic. Simple. Snappy (6.8 V10). Made me miss my old SuperDuty pretty bad.

Should I tell my Ram, or just see if she notices I smell different?

That's guilt you'll have to live with for a long time. Seems only fair she gives some else a ride :naughty:
