Saw my first RAM TRX yesterday driving down the road at the last minute. Couldn't grab my phone quick enough to get a pic, but Holly **** !!! What a massive hood. Looked like a Transformer was getting ready to eat everything up. Definitely set up to compete with the Rapor. Watch out Ford...... there's a Ram coming that's not taking any prisoners. :driver:

I had the same thing happen to me this week, except if wasn't a TRX but a 2 door escort hatchback that someone hacked up and put a flatbed on it. Couldn't get my phone fast enough. Only in Kentucky...

I hate to be shady, but will y’all vote for the best TOTM My boys are so excited that dad Is entered in the TOTM. I teach my boys how do electrical and and how to do oil changes etc. My generation is this we let the dealership take care of it. I do it all myself. I teach my kids how to do everything. I’m at almost 36 and teaching 5 boys how to work on cars. They all have a huge love for maintenance. They love anything and everything Ram. It’s been a great building point. Please help make my boys excited. They have told their teachers as we have stayed remote learning. I have stayed diligent and the work that they have worked on with me has now become a TOTM. I’ve heard them tell their teachers about what we have done to it together, and them wishing they were members here to vote for a dad. Vote for your favorite truck please. I’m just a dad that wants his boys to not depend on others to maintain your vehicles. Please help me make my boys proud. I would greatly appreciate seeing my boys seeing their hard work pays off.

Some maintenance @ 70K miles, 4 1/2 years.
- Coolant flush and fill
- Oil change and filter (Redline 5W30 and RP 20-820)
- Collected sample for Blackstone UOA
- PowerStop brakes and rotors all the way around. Found out right rear caliper was frozen. So new right rear caliper as well.
- Cleaned out oil catch can.
- New engine air filter and cabin filter

That should hold us for awhile ! :)

I did for a while. But, the Uconnet update stopped the app from working. I had to send it back to Banks. Just waiting on the refund. :( Luckily, I wear work boots year round, so that helps with the pedal mashing. :D

Went to replace a couple skid plate bolts that rattled out and saw a bunch of oil on the undercarriage. When parked on an incline oil was dumping out and leaking down the top of the bell (Im thinking possible oil filter/cooler seal fail?).
Pic is looking down from behind the engine at the firewall.
3.6l pentastar 97k miles. Any trusted dealerships in Orange County area?

Finally purchased some new QA1 adjustable shocks for my Ram this week, got them today. Been working with QA1 to find the perfect shock for the front and rear of my Ram with the 3/6 drop. Had to get the weight front and rear of the truck last week so they could choose the right shocks for me including a bunch of measurements as to collapse and extended length including center of travel. There 10 way adjustable so Im just gona start at one and go from there. Got them on Amazon for $160 each so not a bad investment to get a good ride as it should be. I will let everyone know how they come out.

Those white ones are going in the trash!

Rear main seal leak? I can't see from the pics. Some pentastar in JKs suffer from this and that's typically the mileage when the seal fails. Good luck.
