Hardwired Front and Rear DashCam (Rexing V1). MEMPHIS Tennessee has some of the worst drivers ever.

Found a set of 35x11.50x20 Nitto Terra Grapplers on FB for $600 a little while back, 2 are like new and 2 are ~75% tread. Couldn't pass it up, got them mounted last Thursday. Truck always looked like it skipped leg day before, looks so much better now. Lost just a touch of power but seem to be right around the same fuel mileage so far

Just cleaned her up and now waiting for a day to pull off my bumpers and wrap them gloss black… the black chrome didn’t hold up to well. I got so many plans/ideas and not enough time or money haha … I love the truck tho67848975428__DB7FAD70-83DA-4A6B-A369-952910FDE7A5.jpeg

Just installed a Backflip MX4 on my 2018 2500 with a 8' bed. I had a hardcover tri-fold on it that worked great, just decided to do something different and will try to sell that to recover some of my expenses.

The new cover was fairly easy to install, had some metal shavings in the holes for clips so that took time to clean out. Had to cut a bit of my bed liner on corners to make room for rails. So far I like it and got a good deal from tonneaucovered.com, emailed them directly and got a black Friday extra bit over their sale price off. It was about $120 cheaper than anywhere else and shipping was fast. Will add a picture later.

Since my Stainless Works headers arrived today, I pulled the exhaust manifolds and y-pipe to prepare for installing them. All bolts came out with no issues, even the nuts holding the heat shield on. It pays to buy a southern truck with no rust! I did try the trick of tightening them a bit before loosening them. The hardest thing to do was get the right forward 02 sensor harness unplugged. It is way up on top of the bellhousing, and you can barely see it. I unscrewed it and removed the Y-pipe, then I had better access. Yeah, even the 02 sensors came out pretty easy. I installed the 02 wire extensions and called it a day. Next, I'll clean up the heads and put the headers on.

I wrapped the driver's side header with titanium wrap and installed it. Hopefully it's the hardest one. Directions say to unbolt motor mount and raise motor, but I didn't need to. I just had to remove a small heat shield on the motor mount, and the dipstick tube, and it slid right in. There is a wiring harness that contacted it at the front, so I just bent the bracket holding it away. The shift cable also was too close, so I "shifted" it away and tie wrapped it to a brake line. I didn't try re-installing the dip stick tube so I don't yet know if I will need to Lokar it. I did need to swap the 02 extension harnesses. I put the long one towards the front on both sides, but test fitting the exhaust showed that I needed to put the longer one towards the rear on the driver's side. I think the passenger side is OK.
The passenger side does look a lot easier!

The passenger side on my JBA LTs dang near "fell in". I fed them from underneath the truck. The driver side on mine had similar fitment troubles. I modified my steering shaft due to an interference with the front cylinder primary tube. The SW headers don't have the same issue from my understanding.

My steering shaft is close, but not touching. I'll watch to see if it contacts when driving.
The only other issue I'm concerned about is that the left cat is right under the transmission oil pan. I'm concerned that it will melt it and cause issues.
I know this motor will breathe a lot better, after seeing how restrictive the oem exhaust is.

Contacted Stainless Works about the nearness of the cat to the trans oil pan, they said as long as I have at least 1/2" of clearance I will be OK. I will try to have as much as possible.

Make a couple really sharp corners while accelerating slightly,if the shaft is gonna rub the headers it'll be on a corner while accelerating, and you'll know it instantly. If it does rub,you can hunt up a couple inch body lift steering shaft extension, and that'll usually move the knuckle up high enough it doesn't touch the primary tubes

Not really this week, but more like this month.

Serviced my front and rear diff (found a front axle seal leak... woohoo)
Tinted my front windows (20%) and windshield (70% ceramic)

My tailgate assist came in last night and my retractable bumper step comes in today. I'll probably slap both of those on tomorrow. Then it's time for a trans service and to get the axle seal leak fixed before moving on to a fuel filter change. Early January it's time to find a retractable bed cover.

Could always bend up a piece of metal to go between it and the pan and have an exhaust shop tack it on. Just make sure it's long enough to weld to the regular piping on either side of the cat

Installed yellow LED foglights. (9006 bulbs) Couldn't clock them to 3 and 9 o'clock though. Might have to drill another hole in the locking collar to allow the collar to be rotated to the proper position.

As it is, the "2 and 8" orientation of the LED blade is giving a decent light pattern.

Got the entire Stainless Works headers, cats, and piping done, then unboxed the Borla cat back system and began installing that. WOW, that muffler is HUUGE!!!
So now I need to remove the SW pipes after the cats and cut them to fit to the Borla muffler. I thought those pipes were pretty long.
Oh well, better than too short. (That's what she said.)
