The passenger side on my JBA LTs dang near "fell in". I fed them from underneath the truck. The driver side on mine had similar fitment troubles. I modified my steering shaft due to an interference with the front cylinder primary tube. The SW headers don't have the same issue from my understanding.I wrapped the driver's side header with titanium wrap and installed it. Hopefully it's the hardest one. Directions say to unbolt motor mount and raise motor, but I didn't need to. I just had to remove a small heat shield on the motor mount, and the dipstick tube, and it slid right in. There is a wiring harness that contacted it at the front, so I just bent the bracket holding it away. The shift cable also was too close, so I "shifted" it away and tie wrapped it to a brake line. I didn't try re-installing the dip stick tube so I don't yet know if I will need to Lokar it. I did need to swap the 02 extension harnesses. I put the long one towards the front on both sides, but test fitting the exhaust showed that I needed to put the longer one towards the rear on the driver's side. I think the passenger side is OK.
The passenger side does look a lot easier!

My steering shaft is close, but not touching. I'll watch to see if it contacts when driving. The passenger side on my JBA LTs dang near "fell in". I fed them from underneath the truck. Make a couple really sharp corners while accelerating slightly,if the shaft is gonna rub the headers it'll be on a corner while accelerating, and you'll know it instantly. If it does rub,you can hunt up a couple inch body lift steering shaft extension, and that'll usually move the knuckle up high enough it doesn't touch the primary tubesMy steering shaft is close, but not touching. The only other issue I'm concerned about is that the left cat is right under the transmission oil pan. I'm concerned that it will melt it and cause issues.
I know this motor will breathe a lot better, after seeing how restrictive the oem exhaust is.
Could always bend up a piece of metal to go between it and the pan and have an exhaust shop tack it on. Just make sure it's long enough to weld to the regular piping on either side of the catContacted Stainless Works about the nearness of the cat to the trans oil pan, they said as long as I have at least 1/2" of clearance I will be OK. I will try to have as much as possible.
