I actually considered running it through the carwash yesterday because it's been about 6 weeks since the last time. Then I thought, "Why spend $10 to get it clean when it's just going to look like crap again by Tuesday?," and I drove on by. Life it the desert, it's like that.
Spent $2.25 on wash-spray and rinse good enuf.

Added these Tow Hook covers. License Plate Plugs, and emptied the catch can.

The covers are Orange. On their site they are listed as Amber.

No pics of the catch can contents. Would not have come out very clearly from a cell phone camera.

But to say it has only been on the truck for a little over 3K miles. I was surprised to see it was almost a quarter full.

Weather Tech vent shades. Just put them on today. But the back shades just seem a little bit too big, so I might end up taking them off. The fronts are perfect size and look great.

What do you guys think? Take back shades off, or leave them on?

I like the look. I would leave the rear ones also. But I may be a little biased.

Well, I just bought it last night! Grabbed a 2024 RAM 2500 Laramie Rebel with the Hemi (need the payload). Super stoked about it!

CONGRATS !!!!! A kazillion MODS to do. The 1st one I would suggest is side steps: Depending upon how you use: Rock sliders, or say MOPAR fixed or AMP (power).

5th Gen style truck, not need lights, all exterior be OEM LED. Possibly CHMSL be halogen, but that be ok. Once OP clarifies which trim it is: either Rebel or Laramie would decide. Mayhave come with floor mats etc.

Yup! I’m going to get powered steps. This is my RAM two RAMs ago. Had it built out and had a lot of the AEV stuff on it (bumper after this photo), 37’s, Baja lights, HAM radio, etc. Won’t need to build this one out as much, but I’ll run a Four Wheel Camper and add a winch to start. Possibly air compressor system as well.IMG_3894.jpegIMG_3260.jpegIMG_3045.jpeg

Look at post double quote bottom is OP
Well, your remarks were directed at @Exdeus, responding to his comment, "Grabbed a 2024 RAM 2500 Laramie Rebel". @Exdeus is not the OP here.

Typically, OP means original poster. The original poster is the person who started a discussion thread, and OP is used to refer back to that person as the responses grow. The OP of this thread (started in May 2018) is actually @S0CAL, but it looks like he hasn't posted anything since May 2021, or maybe he changed his name or something else..........

Anyway, not trying to bust your chops at all. I apologize if it seems that way. And thank you for your service! I have biggest respect for vets! :waytogo:

It's more like what did my Ram do to me this week...three times this weekend it shutoff while idling...almost as if I just hit the start/stop button. No warning, no check engine lights, no error messages nada. I'm thinking my start/stop switch may be going bad. I've checked the battery, full charge, staying at or slightly above 14 amps when running. No noticeable drop in RPMs. I put it in P (dial-a-death shifter) and restart it just fine and then it ran with no issues for hours...then happened again. I'm open to suggestions.
