I plan on doing the dash cam as soon as my Ram arrives. Really easy in the F150 and I plan to jus transfer it over.

I plan on doing the dash cam as soon as my Ram arrives. Really easy in the F150 and I plan to jus transfer it over.

It was easy in my 2017 Ram, I had the DR650 2channel. I powered mine in the back of the center console, but on the 2019 there is no longer a cigarette charging port there, now it’s a standard plug. So Just ordered the hard wire kit for mine.

Sorry for the delay, it’s just been raining here everyday.. I just received my hardwire kit for my dash cam. So I’ll be doing that tomorrow and I’ll post up pics then.

Reason for a dash cam is Incase of a accident, I’ll have proof if it was my fault or not. I mounted the rear camera on the passenger side rear window.

Right now I have mine plugged into the top cigarette power port on my dash, I hardwired my radar dector in my over head console. I’ll be hard wiring my dash cam tomorrow. I want mine to be powered on all the time. Ill take pics along the way and post pics ASAP.
